You will surely fall in love with these shapes. Stars, bells, and horseshoes are traditional Christmas symbols, and it's hard to imagine Christmas without their gingerbread versions. They belong not only on your festive tables but also as beautiful tree ornaments. Moreover, their fragrant magic will captivate anyone for whom you prepare a "good luck" package made from these very shapes.
Christmas gingerbread is not only a delicious treat but also a beautiful decoration that will fill your home with a wonderful aroma.
One Star, Three Ways
Stars are my favorite shape because they offer endless possibilities for artistic expression – from simple linear patterns to rich lace decorations or Madeira-style compositions. And I mustn't forget the miniature Nativity scenes, which I especially love to decorate on them.

Tip for you
You can easily transform the stars into glittering snowflakes. Immediately after decorating, lightly sprinkle them with fine crystal sugar. After a few seconds, tap off the excess sugar – and a snowflake is born!
One Bell, Three Ways
In gingerbread symbolism, the bell is a messenger of good news, so it should never be missing from any Christmas tree or gingerbread gift package. You can never have enough little bells.

Tip for you
f you're worried you can't decorate symmetrically, don't be! Just start with an asymmetrical design. Either way, each of your little bells will still be a messenger of good news.
One Horseshoe, Three Ways
Bake a large quantity of these horseshoes, from the smallest to the largest. The large ones can be given as gifts to your loved ones, while the smaller ones can be used to adorn presents or as decorations for the Christmas table.

Tip for you
You can also prepare the smaller gingerbread horseshoes as a type of Christmas cookie. If you choose a suitable recipe from my archive, such as the almond dough, you can even serve them without any icing.
